950's - shaken not stirred

That is on ice.

Anyone stud up a 950A/SE for winter time fun?

No sled for me (so far) this winter so I need a play toy as I live very close to a huge playground.

Yes I know they are big.....

just a small sample of said playground.

I was thinking of studing up mine also.
Went to the dump and looked through the old tire pile.
Found 4 near new DOT fronts and 1 good rear.
When I say neer new I mean next to no wear on the knobs....can't understand why someone threw them out??
Heres 3 of them.

Anyhow.......
Threw one of the fronts on this weekend , but will stud up one of the others.
The rear I got is also a neer new knobie with the square edges worn off, should work good on the se studed up.

Although I think I will keep the winter riding in the "Not so deep" stuff.

good idea in looking in the junk pile.

I'm pretty certain I could borrow a set of hoops from a few buddies to spoon on for the season.

Luckily I live in an area that does'nt get consistently deep snow (cept for last year) so relatively clean ice is easy to come by.

I don;t think I'll go wild just for shaking the dust off and cruising around lake Winnebago which is rather large.

You should come north to spend a w/e of training. I could easily dig up a docile KX500 for you to play with. ana:

I'm your Huckleberry, say when.

And the more docile the bike the better, I don't get along well with high horsepower, torquey machines.
