Compact Adjustable Trail Jack
I wanted a compact, easily utilized trail jack for dealing with off-road flats.
Yeah, I know I can just dump the bike over and deal with it that way but the ol' pig is, well, a pig to pick back up.
So, being a on-the-trail-tire-changing-flat-fixing weeny, I spent a couple of hours noodling around and came up with this little adjustable gizmo.
It's basically an aluminum telescoping 2 piece rod with a friction lock. It adjusts from 14" long when not deployed up to 26" fully deployed. The friction lock holds firm when there is weight on the rod and is easily adjusted using the lock tab.
Here's a little video of it in action:
If enough folks are interested I can fab up some more for a reasonable price.
Got pricing down to $30 shipped - PM for more info

A certain Angel and her cohort showed up in a dark parking lot with one of these while i was stranded with a flat - this item is the bee's meow. Solid, stable, dummy-proof and light - in this clime where the lack of branches and stumps precludes the Out East solution to bike jacking, this is the $h!t.
