So, if you bunny hop a unicycle, is that a wheelie?

Hey Lornce,

Great stuff man....I believe we're already booked for the evening we fly in (and we'll be exhausted), so there'll be no cooking from our side

But on another day, if theres interest, it will be our pleasure. Amanda is Afrikaans and a great cook

It would be a pleasure to meet you too, I have been reading your adventures recently on this forum, so that would be super

Sounds good HGL. I'll look forward to it.

I've got a mate from Zim you'd probably be interested to meet. Runs a motorcycle tour company in Se'Thefrika. Great guy and good fun to ride with.

Keep us posted as to your available dates.

cheers,
Lawrence

We went to Restauran Malaysia Tuesday night (Nov 11), then there was a review of the place in the Toronto Star the next day! It was very good. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Malaysian food, so I don't remember all the names of the stuff we ordered. Duh! I'm more familiar with Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese cuisine. We had a chicken dish (like fried chicken - excellent), a beef dish and a noodle dish & shrimp soup. Unfortunately, being Halal, they were not licensed so we had to go to the London Pub afterward for our brewskis. All that matters is that I'd go back again.

Okay, so I tried their chili yesterday in Perth. You know, where there's no deer. Hmmn, it was okay but it was kinda bland and too meaty. I like more kidney beans in my chili and more heat. Lots more heat. And the garlic toast was horrible. Can you say garlic-ish margarine? Blech.

Excellent chicken salad samiches, though. Whole wheat. Toasted. Hmmmn.

Wednesday November 26th 7:30pm at the Modern India Buffet at Main and Walnut in Hamilton. Oh man, the food is good. You will leave groaning.
