Hey Mtnflow, you may be the one who can answer this question. I haven't been up to Taskers and I'll bet you have. How do Pedlar and Taskers compare?

I would. Honestly though, I mainly go there 'cuz I have teenage nephews that aren't street legal and there aren't many places for them to ride.

It's an hour and a half for me so I trailer down. Don't know how worth it it is for you guys from farther north.

BTW, mtnflow, the trails at Pedlar are better than they've been in several years.

Good luck, at least the dumb people will probably be family sized and not quite the large group size that come out during the peak months. Granted, if there is a deer on the side of the road, cars will back up forever trying to get a peak of such a unique animal.

Made it down to pineola nc last night. Caught a bot of rain south of roanoke but mostly chased the showers the rest of day. Headed for little switzerland Asheville and down to robinsville tonight.

No traffic at all yesterday so I buzzed right along. Only bad part is that I lost my good cold weather gloves somewhere between fancy gap and here and my front tire is worn out on the right half. Guess that what happens when only go right.

Sitting in the local McD listened to the locals talk politics and fishing. Damn I miss the NC southern drawl.

(I was originally talked about the dummy's in congress shutting the hep down)

Godspeed to you, and glad you didn't get too wet. Sorry about the gloves; musta been one of those senior moments. Oh wait, you're too young for that.

So are you saying that in one day the right half of a tire wore out?
I'm sure there wasn't enough wind to cause you to lean to the right all day, not to mention, how are you going to wear out a tire in one day out on the road? It sounds like there was something defective about the tire, and you may be looking for a replacement today. Be especially careful cornering on that side when there is wetness on the road. Or maybe something is drastically out of alignment, but to be that bad, I'm sure it would be obvious. Good luck getting it sorted out.

I think the weather is on the upswing. Should be better today and awesome tomorrow.

I thought I would mention that my friend Peacerider is at home recovering from a heart attack he suffered a week ago. He is in surprisingly good spirits for having been through such an ordeal, and it's very encouraging. He's one of those people who you treasure having in your life. Please join me in sending out a prayer for him.

Send our best to Peacerider George.

What they can do these days for heart patients is amazing. Gives me hope!

Safely in robbinsville. Had a great ride to finish up the brp, nice hike up to linville falls and had some awesome BBQ in Asheville. Ended replacing thefront tire is Asheville at the local triumph dealer. Thought I had enoung left to finish this trip but better safe the sorry.

Funny story, I was stopped along the parkway trying to figure out where the shop was and about ready to give up when to guys on triumphs pulled up. Turns out they were on a demo ride from the dealer. Anyway they hooked me up with a tire, a loaner bonniville and a good BBQ place for lunch. Goof folks!

Cherola skyway, dragon then head to Charlotte today. 700 plus miles so far.

Best wishes to peacerider
