Where is that Erzberg Rodeo thing!? Looks awsome! Are they in some kind of quarry or something?

Sure you will. You wouldn't make it up that first embankment. But it would be fun to see you try.

Erzburg is in Austria every year, known as one of the most grueling races, with a very high DNF rate. It's an old iron ore mine I think,or maybe some type of quarry. Check HBN's link I guess, I'm to lazy to click it and read a bad translation from German to English.

Everybody over here recommends Tim Morris at Morris Cycle up in Ruckersville. I've met him and he's a good guy. Might be worth a call.

Maybe too far for you though...

Tim is good, if your bike needs a bunch of stuff though it might be sitting in the shop a few weeks this time of year as there is a long line. I'd imagine most shops are quite busy too around now. Winter is the time to get lot's of work done on your bike, but everybody always waits and want's everything to be done in the spring.

... STRONG THUNDERSTORMS TO AFFECT ORANGE AND MADISON COUNTIES...

AT 446 PM EDT... DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER UNIONVILLE... MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH. ANOTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED OVER TWYMANS MILL IN SOUTHEASTERN MADISON COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS ALSO MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MADISON COUNTY AND NORTHERN ORANGE COUNTY WILL BE AFFECTED BY THIS STORM THROUGH 500 PM

WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

What the hell am I doing still at work? Should have dipped out a bit earlier. Oh well should just stay now for a bit and let it pass through.

That's all it was here too until I heard rumbling a few minutes ago and realized it wasn't a truck or the train. It's all good maybe the wind and rain will freshen the stale hot air a bit for the evening ride. I remember last year quite a number of times when riding I was like who the hell turned the oven on?!...Am I in hell now? I guess these days in the 90's will also bring out those passing spotty thunderstorms in the afternoon. Didn't know we lived in Florida.

Awesome Ride- 6-1-09

Me and mtnflow went for a tag on second mtn, got bruced, almost scared into a coronary by a rattlesnake . ( Quit laughing Mtnflow, It Is acceptable behavior to jump up in the air throwing both legs high and to yell every time your feet hit the ground for the first 20 feet or so. When the rattlesnake sounds like he's between your feet.) From second mtn. we went to FS 162. (my first time there, thanks mtnflow.) I'll be up there again, it's a great road , lot's of beautiful scenery.
