Shenandoah 500 Ninja roll

So there I was on the first Hero section on Saturday of this years Shenandoah 500. Things were going pretty well until both my goggles and glasses decided to fog up and become opaque at the same time and hilarity ensued....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvaSalKoMlA

Bike was undamaged, Badlands took 99.9 percent of the impact, only a slight bruise on the shoulder and finished the ride without much further drama. There might be some more video of some other drops in that section coming to a theater near you soon but I wanted to share this one first :)

Already looking forward to the next year, might go for a double ninja roll next year...

We ate breakfast the next morning with you vibenation....I couldnt imagine how you could have taken your own picture doing a 'ninja roll' but now with your post, I see the 'picture'....enjoyed meeting with some of the cat herders at your camping spot across from the restroom and hoped that we werent too loud the night before....enjoyed the dual sport ride!

Heather does not want me to have anymore bikes. So I will be happy with the one I have until I can manage to sneak on into the back somewhere

Great time running Shen 500 on Saturday on my little 144cc toy bike that did great. I skipped cold and rainy Sunday.

Skippii did you ever make it home or you still out in the woods somewhere?

Previous weekend was a Summit point trackday.

love my current setup with the Hummer and Mototote hitch mount bike carrier. So easy to load up, go do 2wheeled activities and have a comfy place to sleep with RTT.

Doing a 2 day Penguin racing track school in NJ next weekend. Roger Hayden will be there as well as other AMA pros.

There are some other wrecks I will put up later (that one took over 2 hours to upload on my shitty dsl connection down here) that featured no tumbling but much harder smashes on the ground for everyones entertainment.

Just got done washing and going over the bike and despite my repeated attempts (I think 4 times in that hero section) to beat it into submission it has only scratches and a bit of tweaking on the handguards and a slight dent in the pipe. That bike is absurdly rugged :)

No gymnast blood in me, just MANY times hitting the ice while playing hockey and lucky there was no tree in the trail.
