If all goes as planned I'll be there late this afternoon... just in time for a run to El Paso I hope.

Hey Tim you will be back before you know it. If you need anything lets us know we can box it up and send it to you. I am not sure how many boxes it would take to get the monster over there.

So none of y'all are making it to Morton's Octoberfest? Bummer. If anybody wanders into Fredericksburg, come say hello. I'll be working the used bike tent for Jeff.

I got my Morton's invite in the mail!
Yep, planning to brave the 36 degrees Sat am and head over there with my buddy Ron on his 800GS. I need to do some glove shopping.

Cats - beautiful time at Deals Gap. Got home late Friday night and spent Saturday with the family. I am still working to gather my pictures from my phone, camera, and gopro. I will put some up later. When I got home I noticed I was about to turn 45k on the bike. Lots of time in that saddle for me and OREXPAT. Thanks for sharing the bike with me. She is awesome. Comfortable on the highway, good in dirt and absolutely flies through the twisties.

Question more tire questions

Okay... more tire questions... seen where HBN likes the Shinko 705 ....allonsye likes Anakee II... and valongbeard just put some on....

My Tiger needs new tyres have Metzler Tourance.... and I am debating on just replacing the Metzeler Tourance or going with something like the Shinko or Anakee II ...... has anyone had any dealings with Heidenau K76 or K60 Scouts (the K76 is a 90/10 the K60 are a 50/50 tire) ?

Thanks.

The K60 looks like a beautiful tire, but I don't know about performance. I just rode the Tail of the Dragon on the Anakee and I am much impressed. They stick the turns great. The Shinkos did a good job too, but won't get the distance that the Anakees will. Check out how they stick in my Killboy pic.

Dave, you continue to make the Strom more and more appealing every day! Glad you had a good trip, can't wait to see the pictures.

Parkway this weekend

I was bummed to miss out on the fun this weekend but got to have a little of my own while making my way down to Roanoke and eventually Charlotte for a wedding. The parkway was just ideal today, I was eating it up. Did close to 200 miles total.
