I might go grab a tag.

*edit* no tagging for me since Suzuki doesn't include the tools necessary to remove the front wheel in their tool kit. Guess I'll get in the car and go shopping for a 12mm Allen wrench.

Now it'd really be the good ol days when your tag cache came with a 12mm wrench!

No Mica, I haven't been here before. My bucket list is prohibitively extensive

Oh, thought I remembered seeing pics of that place before from a Cat Herder. Of course, you were the most likely suspect.

Kevin, you need to get yourself down to Murphy's Tool Shack and git urself ataggin.

Wow interesting. I did see a sketchy camper up there a week or two ago off Middle Mountain Rd.

Finally sorted through my weekend pics and man are there some neat ones. Teasers:

The thought of meth heads cooking up there would make me think twice about riding alone in the area.

The thought of Cat Herders brewing in Bedford would make me think twice about riding in that area

i did talk to a warden we met after getting turned back by a big water crossing on a remote road north of LF, even though the latest county map shows the road going through. we eventually got on the subject of drugs in the national forests and i told him about what i'd seen on my numerous trips on gravel out there this season. it's no joke, very serious business to anyone on the enforcement side.

on another note, i also found out that there is spelunking to be had at LF, news to me, i don't remember anyone mentioning it, but it's true.

Sinks of Gandy. I've seen spelunkers parked at the 90-degree bend near the entrance. It's about a mile through, and they said there are two exits across the ridge-one being wetter than the other.

Might be others--unless the meth-heads have taken the place over . . .

Sure thing JD Rocks. We always take a walk to the Sinks of Gandy Creek when visiting but I haven't been through it. Inmate Gimmeslack has and took some neat photos. PM him if interested in finding out more.

I finally have my weekend PA RR up

LOTS of good caving in that area...
Actually, I have not been through the Sinks (my wife has) - too much cow poo for me. But I have done the cave that crosses under road and pops you up in pasture hust above the sinks. Strangely, they don't connect...

...back to lurking
