All you guys out riding this weekend I could really use some help.

Three guys with decent backs should be able to knock it out in 10 to 15 minutes - I think - 20 at the outside.

Background -
My cabin has a loft that I use as a bedroom. Access is via a narrow spiral staircase (17" wide).

I bought one of those high density foam beds that I need to get up stairs. The mattress is compressed, wrapped in heavy plastic, inside a heavy duty cardboard box that measures 60" X 15" X 15" and it weighs a over 70 pounds - according to the FedEx guy who delivered it.

My neighbor and I got it out of the car and inside the house but there is no way I can get it up stairs by myself.

If a couple of you can swing by and help at some point (I'm 5.9 miles off of Rt259, a mile from the Rt259/Rt55 intersection in Wardensville). PM for phone number/directions, etc. The ice is mostly gone from my driveway and the roads are clear. I'll buy your drinks at either dinner Saturday night or the RTE on Sunday.[/QUOTE]

Durn Mike, I wish I wasn't laid up, it's supposed to get up to 71saturday. I love riding back that way, it's. a nice ride.

Does the Sheetz still work for a meeting place?
Sheetz

Guess you can set the time. All depends on you and Matt's trip.
Sheetz works for me. I think the plan is to swing by Blooch's to pick up he and Banshee. Should be rolling out of Elkton around 1045... should but us at Sheetz about 25 minutes later.

Dean, where are you planning on meeting up?

Pics

Some more random fun pictures....

Yuma, AZ in August 2010. We were there for work, but we got a day off. I know its 4 wheels but it was still an adventure! This is my boss!!

Mine was not as impressive, but still...

The closest I've ever been to Mexico!

There are multiple places out there to rent ATVs. It was a cheap, fun and insanely hot way to spend an August day.

One extreme to the other. Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska Feb 2009

You worry about healing Nick. Something will come up and I'll get the bed upstairs.

Bummer alert, bummer alert.

Still to much ICE in the mountains. George and I planned on riding up through union springs and going down dunkle hollow.

union

We turned around and headed to long run to check it out....

The start of long run, if it's this bad in the low-land it will be shit on top...

What's plan "B" for sat.

I was planning on coming home thru Afton and dropping down Howardsville Turnpike. I'll see if its any better.

Maybe head south towards 56 again?

That ride we did last summer might be pretty decent. Campbells Mtn rd and wind around on the gravel.

Yeah, no doubt the higher elevations are going to be icy. Howardsville Tpk and Campbell Mtn too.

What about the Middleburg Horse Country trail? We'll need someone with a GPS that actually works....

edit: minus the Jeb Stuart water crossing of course.
