It's a round cylinder with finned ends that rides on top of the engine, behind the cylinder, under the FI. Walter and Terry both have them on their XCs and they are visible from the right side.

Snowed in!!

It snowed here in Staunton. I will be stuck here for weeks!!

Since I couldn't go out I decided to work in the garage. All about tool control in my line of business....

By the time I cut the previous one out I realized I was too drunk to start another drawer!

I wasn't really snowed in guys. Miss TIMster had friends over and I was banished to the garage. I love my garage, but I could think of better things to be doing.....

Nothing here in Mount Sidney, roads are dry. Looks like I'll finally get to ride this week.

RLD was fine this morning--never got any precip yesterday. Rode to "work" this morning. If the weather stays like this, I may not have to drive the pickup to work again--last day is the 24th, then "haze gray and underway" for the PNW on the 29th.

Riding Stella on the dry roads felt so good after taking Metro all week. Hooray! Dry weather for Indian electronics

I drove yesterday too. But since I had the truck at work I took most of my photos and other office junk home. Thought it would snow on me for sure . . . . and since it didn't, got to ride the Dub in the late afternoon.

Everytime I ride a naked bike (I love that term . . . !!) when it's really cold out, I'm reminded why I like fairings so much!

I think my next bike is going to be a low mile 1100RT. I almost bit the bullet on one last winter. Kinda wish I had now that its' 34.

You'll learn to curse the fairing on a hot day but it's a lifesaver in the winter.
