Oh it's going to be some killer riding tomorrow boys and girls! Of course I'll just be riding a 3 mile trip to work, but I'll take that. How do you rinse off all the salt when your garden hose is frozen? Guess it'll be a bucket and the rain barrel if it isn't thawed. I know the rain barrel will be thawed enough for 10 gallons or so, the rest a solid iceberg.

That is oh so very true

WOW they are talking about some killer winds tomorrow

It too muddy where we are going to cut...
So waiting for another half hour ..
And see if the mud dries a little...

I hate mud bowls on a slippery slope...

Learned years ago to drain the water out of the hose after each use in the winter-time.

Hey, I wouldn't get my hopes up too much for serious trail riding today, though. Expect forest roads to be a thin layer of slick mud on top of ice, probably still snow in places. DAMHIK this...

Kevin and I talked about that. I think we are gonna try to hit some of the lower trails to avoid any snow that may be lingering around up high. The XT is too clean! It needs a good layer of mud. And I laid the garden hose out on my hill so it will be ready to clean off the mud when I get home!

Not sure what Tim has in mind. Possibilities I see include:
Through Mt. Solon and Stokesville, blast Tillman, up to Reddish...
Or same but instead of Tillman, by Todd and the trail up by there, (or out past Elkhorn) and try to reach Reddish from that far side....
About time to gear up...
