Owl Spirit brings wisdom and clarity. They will help you see through deceivers.

Pay attention to your dreams.

'Course she might not do much for you , Mike. You got a mighty thick head...

Fascinating. I used to have my house decorated with owls. I then moved and most of the wisdom and clarity disappeared.

I'm slowly rebuilding my owl collection

When we were building our home, we were camping out in the construction site when we were joined by an owl. He (or she) hung out, and I guess slept, up in the rafters while we snoozed below. It was so cool! We took it as a sign of blessing.

I don't know where that came from. My mind gets a little twisted when I'm working nights. Owls are about the coolest thing out there. We had one in Florida that would roost on an old step ladder I had outside. It scared the crap out of our boy the first night he heard it. I think it was the first night he slept with us in a long time.

You all might like this. We've been working nights (12hrs), yesterday I only got about three hours sleep so I'm heading into work last night already tired. I had to stop at Sheetz on the way in and was in a bit of a hurry. I ran in the store, got my stuff and ran back out. When I jumped into the car I kinda crashed into the steering wheel like I do when my wife forgets to move the seat back after she's been driving it. My first thought was somebody was screwing with me. I reach down between my legs to move the seat back and realize I'm in the wrong damn car, it's silver but it's not mine, my car is one more spot to the left. I bailed out of that thing in a hurry before Bubba came out and wondered what I was doing in his car.

Back in Highland ..
We had a Screech that lived in the Big Silver Maple in the Ft yard and in the winter, She would sit on the Weber top after HB used it.. She would warm her tootsies there in the snow storms.. I'll have to look for the Photos..

H14 maybe you said that cause you had watched Rooster Cogburn and they ate an Owl in a stew

H14, you are right. The wheels of my mind are already turning...

I have a similar wrong car story. I was on business travel with a coworker to the left coast. We were in the restaurant and I paid while he went out and got the car. I go out and jump in the car and look at this terrified old geezer behind the wheel wondering who this MFer is who jumped in his car. Said a quick oopsie and jumped out. Glad he didn't have heat packed cause he might of capped me thinking he was being car jacked. I wasn't tired. just stoopid.

similar car story...

At the Pilot House having dinner one night with friends. We had ridden there in their blue Chevy Astro Van. About half way thru the evening I went out to smoke and noticed an identical van had parked about 3 cars away. So I rallied the kids in secrecy to head to the wrong van when we left to fool their parents. Needless to say it worked like a charm. My buddy stood beside the wrong van for what seemed like an eternity, jamming his key in and out of some other dudes van door wondering why it wouldn't unlock! We all had a good laugh.

Wow, you guys are killing me with these 'getting in the wrong car' stories!

Now I know why I like hanging out with y'all!

That RR link looks like it could be an interesting trip there Kev; thanks for posting it up.

In the town I used to work in, an elderly woman had a home care helper who took her Dodge Reliant K car to the grocery store. (back in the early '90's when there were a bunch of 'em around) When she was done shopping for the elderly woman she went into the parking lot, got into the wrong car and the key started it. The cops figured it out somehow and ran the plate on the K car still in the lot and went to the address and there it was.
