found more info on the beer. It was made between 1963 and 1966 when Garden State Brewing Company of Hammonton, NJ made products for 7 Eleven.

still no clue if it has any value......

Workmans auto upholstery recovered a vmax seat for me in the early 90's, the seat was perfect and the price was reasonable. They are right off north main street next to what used to be holly farms.

I've heard of them, but it looks like they are out of business.

I just got my Seat Concepts cover and pad for the Strom. I've got a decent staple gun so I might give it a shot myself.

You can do it! Just make sure the back half is comfortable for her...

This is a good video showing the correct procedure.

I thought I had 3 decent staple guns but they wouldn't work on my DRZ pan. Got a Seat Concepts cover to put on too. Gonna try to borrow an air stapler.

My WRR seat required an air stapler. I've used my HD hand stapler on KTM seat pans ok in the past, but the Yamaha pan is very hard.
Air stapler was slick.
I heated the Seat Concepts cover on the worbench with my little ceramic cube heater, kept it on and pointed at the new cover while I worked. My wife helped stretch/hold which made it easier.
Gassman automotive (British car resto shop) in W'boro has an upholstery guy, that's where Wayne Cycle advises to go.

My neighbor has an upholstery shop. Used to rent a space in town, but moved into his back yard about a year ago. He said he did a lot of work for JMU. I don't know what his work looks like though. I know he's pretty convenient location to you if you want to check him out.

Thanks for the tips everybody. I'm going to see if my stapler is up to the task, if not I'll be hitting you up for more info about your neighbor Dave.

I have a buddy who is a UPS driver. He knew a guy on his route that does upholstery. I called him up. During the course of the conversation I told him on the phone that all I was really looking for was a decent staple gun as there is a recess on the pan my swingline stapler couldn't get to. He told me to come on by. I'm not sure but I think he thought I was implying that I wanted to do the work myself(ie: just use his tools)...which I would never ask a business to do but...
Took it over, he started with a couple staples, a customer came in and he let me finish it.
Then he didn't want to charge me anything. I gave him a twenty and told him I couldn't get it done anywhere else for less. Thanks!

If it's as comfy as my Seat Concepts is, you're gonna love it! When you get that done snap a few pics of the bike with the new farkles on it...seat and panniers please.

Kevin,
I have a pneumatic stapler and an electric stapler that you are welcome to use. Just let me know. There is a man in Elkton that does upholstering but is a little slow.
