I lived in GA for 10 years and knew people who thought folks from TN, NC and VA were yankees. And FL is a yankee annex. I only ever got shit one time, but that was more because I drove a Ford truck onto his Chevy ONLY property.
There do seem to be folks who don't understand the various cultures... One of my GA buddies was surprised to hear that there are rednecks in PA....Most folks were curious and cool about my heritage.
