I think there are a couple sets of 140/80/18 s and 90/90/21 living in garage with a few miles left on them. Free for the taking.

I just got lectured about why wearing gloves on a motorcycle was a a waste of time by another massage therapist. Something about how gloves don't protect at all against broken bones, only scratches.
I asked her if she wasn't worried about scratches. She got very defensive made it clear she didn't have a high opinion of anyone who was such a bad rider that they'd need protective gear. Interestingly, though she does wear a full face helmet on her cruiser.
All this from a girl who works in a profession where a papercut on her hand can severely limit her ability to work.

Wow, what an idiot. I'd say the majority of crashes aren't the rider's fault. Damn cagers. (Excluding single vehicle crashes, which are usually rider error) I don't get people like that...

She's... interesting. She likes to talk a lot about her two main hobbies, which are motorcycles and guns.
There's a guy at work who's seriously into guns - moreso than I am with motorcycles, and I've watched him talk with her. He seems to have the same sort of reactions as I feel....this girls doesn't know a single thing about either subject, but seems to like to tell everyone about how much she is into them.

I don't think I'll be riding with her, and I'm definitely don't think I'd feel safe when she's got a gun in her hand.

the best street riders usually started in the dirt. She must not have. If she had ridden dirt and had been roosted just one time, she would understand gloves. One rock to the knuckle can change your whole day...and if you let go of those bars it might be your life that changes.

They put titanium knuckle guards and poron palm guards on racing gloves to protect from scratches.

Right.

Brilliant.

She's a bloody idiot! As for guns? I wouldn't feel safe around her if she had a squirt gun in her hand.

I need to replace my tires on the Nighthawk, but have never done that before. Anyone close to Winchester feel like teaching a noob how to do that? Can provide booze as payment :)

You will think back to this moment, and wonder why the hell you sold your bike for that girl.... That said, after three marriages I am not one to talk.

It's been a fantastic bike, hasn't given me any problems (unless it's been user error, heh), and has plenty of life left. Oil changes maintained, like new tires, a clean bike.

Asking $2,300
Give me a shout if you want to come ride it, (540) 798-3956

I'm also going to ditch my riding gear and a mechanics tool set if anyone's interested. I have:

a size medium Shoei RF-1100 helmet, white
size XL Alpinestars goretex gloves
size XL Olympia mesh jacket with liner
size L-tall Teiz riding pants with armor
size 13 gaerne moto cross boots
size M HJC motocross helmet

Gonna miss the valley and all of you fine folks, but I have a feeling I'll be back...

Hey Grasshopper,

You have to go, to know. Best of luck chasing said female...you'd get there with a bigger smile on your face if you had two wheels. Never compromise on your passions or it is likely you will end up disillusioned adrift in a sea of dashed middle class hopes. Shit how did I wind up in Arlington
