Correct, well access to it is only from above unless you have some kinda mini wrenching gnome that can crawl in there with his spanners.

Sounds like I need to install a longer line to facilitiate bleeding and filling in the future. Always something
RHD(not mine)

Steering wheel is on the wrong side...

Says the owner of an older Triumph where the shifter is on the right...

HBN - Try putting a clutch in a TR6 sometime.
It's been so long since I put a clutch in a Spit that I don't remember where the slave bleed is. Are you sure there isn't a small access panel that unscrews right at the bleed nipple? There will usually be a rust spot near it where Nigel didn't slather quite enough of the black dum-dum around the panel to seal out the weather

Ok, I found this: http://www.mntriumphs.org/aOLD/Tech_Info/Spit%20clutch%20slave/Spit_Clutch_Slave.html
Not enough room to sneak your wrench in from the bottom? Yeah, I know - you're trying to do it by yourself. Use a Mityvac.
Remember to release the pedal slowly if (when) your helper uses the pedal to bleed.

In other news, achievement unlocked!!

Cross post from the NOVA Chatter Thread. I wanted to provideall you cats an update on more Northwest dreary weather. I'm sure that spring is sparkling back there, and just wanted ALCON to see how crummy it remains on this coast.

Took the /5 to Port Townsend today. Just a ride for lunch--quite the thing to do when you're retired . . .

Point Hudson, overlooking Admiralty Strait/Puget Sound.

North Cascades in the background.

Another way to enjoy the area back there . . . .

Mt Baker

Dan, I don't know what's prettier - that beautiful /5 or those fantastic mountains! (Mary opts for the mountains!)

Well, Mike, I sure like motor sickles, but Mary's right- the mountains are fabulous.

Hooray! I added some fresh fluids and made some adjustments here and there and the Spitfire is running as good as usual...which is to say quirky and British. Soon to be cleaned up and put up for sale. 2k mi total on the Spitfire in a little over a year. 20k+ on my GS. Hell I put more on Stella Cars just ain't for me.,

On a similar note...the GS ticked over this mark up along Lake Ontario

Great pics Dan! I'm looking forward to getting this /6 all buttoned up and taking her for a long overdue stretch PS: time for that VA inspection sticker on the forks to go before it is a pain to clean. DAMHIK!
