i ran the shinkos on my wee for about 9k (or was it 7?) rear was thin, but the front looked great. i pitched the rear and h14 took the front for his wee. i dont know if he ever got it on. he might have something to say about the upper mileage. i did the math and found the anakee 2 was a better $/mi tire with similar traits. watch the shinko for the first 500 miles. they get a little wonky until you scrub them good. after that they are excellent. anakees hook up from the start.

Got the carb reassembled and set to relatively stock.

SHE RUNS! Started on the first turn with the usual amount of choke. I've learned to never assume... so time to do some tuning in the daylight and get this baby outta my driveway.

Good to know. Thanks.

Still running Anakees and don't like them much in dirt or gravel. Great road tire though. Need something a little more aggressive but really can't stand a lot of road noise.

I got to looking at the Anakee 3. Revzilla did a video on them. They don't look near as aggressive as the 2 or the Shinko. Anybody actually put them on dirt yet?
