Well, pulled trigger and am headed out for the trans lab highway and other places north of the border. Rode up to Jim Thorpe Friday to spend the weekend with my family and headed on up into Vermont today.

Hopefully it doesn't snow anymore in goose bay

The plan is to meet the wife and kids in bar harbor on the way back and spend another week or so wondering back home.

Little nervous about the trip but really looking forward it! I'll post up when I can

Cheers! Paul

Speeding in Rockingham County

I picked up a performance award on 42 headed down to CC3 in my truck - I was clocked at 73 in a 55 just south of Broadway.

I have a perfect driving record and would like to keep it that way.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a traffic attorney in Rockingham County / Harrisonburg?

Any thoughts are appreciated

I was ticketed two years ago doing 73 in a 55 myself... just east of Harrisonburg on 33. Went ahead and had my day in court as I didn't see the harm in it. Lucked out with a very friendly judge who started by thanking me (and not facetiously) for coming all the way from Fredericksburg. He asked the ticketing officer if I was polite while pulled over (yep), asked me about my record (clean), and then asked the officer if he would recommend a driving school for me in lieu of a ticket. The officer agreed. All in all it was $61 for court cost and $35 for the online driving school. I did see lawyers there who spoke to the deputy just before their clients were called up. Without fail, the lawyers procured for them the same arrangement I received. I mostly attribute that to the kind judge. ymmv.

Garrett.

Bummer David; wish I had some advice to offer but I've been lucky so far (knock on wood). I hope you end up with the same judge Gastone got.
