Yesterday I was riding the 990 heading north on 220 just shy of Monterey, VA when a cager heading south gives me the Advrider salute. He seemed damn happy to do it too. Was it any of you FFs?

A Richmonder requesting the high knowledge of the Cat Headers.... Hey guys wants the best way to get a bunch of loaded GS's from Staunton to Laurel Fork? (By best I mean all gravel, rough run would be the toughest we could do loaded) I have been through that area a bunch of times but always by chance and luck, I was hoping you guys would know a good way.

Thanks

If you make your way to Hightown, VA on US-250 you could go right on SR-640. This will take you through the very scenic Blue Grass Valley. It's paved but worth the ride.

Before actually getting to the town of Blue Grass go left on SR-642. This changes to gravel not too far from SR-640.

Then go right on Allegheny Rd(FR-51 I think). Take Allegheny Rd. to SR-28. Go right.

Then go left on FR-112. This will take you up towards Spruce Knob.

Go left on FR-1, then left on CR-40 to the campground.

Hey. Remember my NeverWet fiasco? Here's an update. The first time I walked in them the stuff cracked and flaked off. Whatever. I'll wear it off or brush it off one day. I don't think it ruined the boots other than the looks, but I doubt I could get another external waterproofing to work now. Disappointed at least.
