For some local history, here is a great resource. Used this a bunch to explore local history:

Damn! We'd be lucky to see any accumulation at all. Last winter we were inches below normal - hope that trend doesn't continue.

Get yourself one of these and some good gear

So, this has been bugging me for a few days:
Sometime in the last year, there was a new motorcycle released. It was based on a comic book stretch, and sold in the USA for $35,000. It was a chopper with a silly name... something between Vmax and Vrod, I think.

Anyway, the Horizontal-mounted front suspension was designed to look like it was a RADD-style hub-center steering, but it wasn't. Rather than going with the hub-center, they actually just connected the front-swingarm to the handlebars with a freaking UNIVERSAL JOINT.

So, maybe there is actually a good use for funny couplings on motorcycles.

It was on the cover of a number of bike mags several months or a year ago...I'll have to go through all my mags if someone can't remind me of the name of the bike soon.

Odd....

I started another thread in RW, but they don't know what it is either. Weird, since the release was a pretty big deal...I think all the mags had it as a cover story.

That's my dream bike, right there.
And for $20,000 MORE than a DesmosediciRR, it damn well better be!

The bike with the Universal Joint Steering was the V-Rex

Talk of Rawley OHV

A Taskers Gap style trail would be awesome but I just don't see it happening...
