+1 glad you are ok.

Thanks for all the suggestions and invites from inmates regarding my bathtub worthy vessel. We'll see how it shapes up.

Hiked from Harper's Ferry to PA this weekend along the AT. 43mi in 44 hrs. Not too shabby for a full pack trip Now off to ride the ruckus to a beach somewhere...or something like that. I'll probably just breakdown somewhere.

Sweet pussy, Lance.
Looks like a nice area there, Issue. At least from a map perspective. Certainly enjoy the advantages of living at the water and bay.

Hey Doug, it's disheartening and eye opening to dump your bike and bust it up and/or get hurt. It's even ebarassing; nobody enjoys it when it's their turn to "be that guy". But we've all been there and done that. All that I know of, certainly. It's all part of the experience in the long run. There are mostly two general personality type responses to the experience. 1) Freak out and focus on how close to death they really came forcing the decision they're not suicidal enough for motorcycle riding, sell or total the bike, and leave the riding to the crazies, or 2) rationalize that slip up was an experience building step, fix things up, get back on, and proceed to dominate. Glad to see you're in our camp.

Awesome hike, Mike! I don't know how many time Rosie and I have vowed that one day, circumstances permitting, we're going to hike and camp the AT in our area for a week. It's hard to predict whether we'll work it in while we're still physically able, but we welcome the opportunity. More imminently, however, I'm watching for the opportunity for us to take a motorcycling/camping trip in the mountains, four days and three nights out for the loop I'm contemplating. She'd rather take a more boring ride to the exciting strip of the Outer Banks. Hard to tell which will predominate. But if I were doing a Ruckus trip to a beach, that'd be the place. Okracoke, in particular, seems to have a relaxing effect on the soul.

Hey!
Not sure what you're alluding to with that but those who have not sampled the Lady's cooking need not address it.

As one who has, I can assure you it's top rate.

Oh yum... no doubt... and the main ingredient is the spirit of love... I'm watering to try it... temptation is of the devil!!!

I doubt there's anything you'd make that I wouldn't like.

Didn't mean to be accusatory, Doug, but... word them things more carefully, wouldya? And avoid that word when addressing another's cooking!

I think most(but not quite everyone ) knew what you meant...

Tomato pie(dessert) sounds awful but Tomato pie(as in Pizza pie) sounds much tastier.
