Just another night wrenching in the garage...

V65 Magna with tank and seat removed.


Dirty Girl...


These have an aux tank fed by the main tank up top. Our main tank was empty of fluids (but full of rust and crud) while our aux tank was full of this:


Some enterprising Honda engineer circa 1982 decided it'd be a good idea to bury that damn Aux tank deep in the frame where you have to remove the rear wheel, fenders and battery box to shimmy it outta place. Legend suggests his son went to work for Volkswagen designing Jetta front ends.


After an hour or so of work we're at this stage:

Might be Millville, NJ That's the closest Nat'l Champion event. They run local events too, including sports car races.
