Thanks to everyone that helped make my time at home super awesome! Riding the mountains and hanging out at ADV events is always something I look forward to. I'm heading back to the desert tonight. See all you guys in the spring! Ride safe!

Holy crap T!M already time to head out. Nice seeing you again at BWDR.

HBN, branch3r said there is a tank trap there but then he started rambling on about other places to camp so I wasn't clear on if you can actually camp at the site you mentioned. The gate past the lake is open and I know there are some sweet camping areas further up the "hollar".

I am suprised you're heading out again so soon. It was good to hang with you at BWDR. Have a safe trip and I look forward to catching up when you get back.

I work from home so while I was solving the world ills, Kevin was enjoying SMIBville Chuck county style alone in the woods.

I don't know what the dirty clown is doing but it is far from work

Good grief, Tim; that was a short stay home.

Kinda like a conjugal visit.

At least you'll be away for the cold winter. Be safe.

Anyone been by there recently to see if the other sites down past the mud bog through that gate our open or is that tank-trapped too?....
I've seen people in the spot you mention. Seemed their vehicle was just off the road inside the curve. But yeah there's tons of spots out there before and after the dam/gate (hehe) and of course the official campground. I've only seen the gate shut once and that was a while ago - I forget when - but it's a long way back into there before the road it tank-trapped. Lots of sites between the gate and end, most along the creek. There's an elevated site at the tank trap.
