Looking at buying a Glock 19 in the near future. Keep your eyes & ears open for me if you see or hear of someone having a deal. I'd prefer to get the Gen4 (I'd rather buy new), but I may be interested in a good deal on a Gen3 from a reliable/trustworthy source.

I'm totaly down with the kitsch/pocket protector bad ass 'tude , I just would not spend a whole lot of $ and time keeping it in show kitsch condition

Thanks Scott; I've shot the 17, 19, and 21 so I'm confident that the 19 is the one I want. Now I just need to get my own so I don't have to borrow one when I want to go do a little bit of shooting.

I would recommend going with a Glock 23 then picking up some 19 mags and a Lone wolf or similar conversion barrel http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.a...OD=983&CAT=241 That way you have a pistol you can shoot both 40sw and 9mm from for ammo availability.

Might also check http://www.armslist.com/classifieds/virginia
