Yeah Blooch. I have 16" on the ground - on top of 6 left over from a couple of days ago and the weather dude is saying we'll get over 24" by tomorrow evening.

Costa Rica would beat the crap out of this place right now.

Blooch you and Banshee should stay in FL for a few days...
It's really nasty here in SWVA...

6" yesterday 5" last night and still snowing !!!
Hey after all the big storms we have gotten this year ..
With a total of @ 85" in snow fall...
The biggest concerns are roofs with the heavy icy stuff from yesterday,
and the snow from last week is also still there...

I need to replace my laptop. It pretty much just gets used for getting on the internet. I don't need all the bells and whistles.
I know most of you all are more computer savvy than I am. What do you suggest for a basic quality laptop?

I'm not entirely crazy about snow, but we have plenty of food and beverages, the teenage kids are stuck here so like it or not they get to spend some fun time with Mom and Dad , and I don't have to be anywhere til tuesday so it's not all bad. 95 degree heat and 100% humidity will be here soon enough so I'll save my bitchin for then.

Go MAC, and you'll never go back!

I purchased a Mac PowerBook G4 almost 6 years ago, and I've had a wonderful experience. Only one glitch, when my iPhoto folder got scrambled somehow. THe fine folks at the AppleStore fixed me up free of charge within 30 minutes and I was on my way.

In the same amount of time, I've had several hard drive crashes, and 3 different lap tops at work.

I hate pc.

Go MAC!
