Little Bird In Poop

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It got so cold it froze up and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As it lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the little bird singing, and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out-and then ate him.

The morals of the story are:

1. Not everyone who drops shit on you is your enemy.

2. Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.

3. When you're in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!

I'm doing good Twohawks (and everyone else). Been very busy with military work and school, and haven't had the pleasure to ride out to WV again for a while. BUT, my new years resolution is more camping and more sailing (I bought a small sailboat off craigslist), so I will be out that way for sure once I get a sleeping bag warm enough to prevent my freezing.

I look forward to being reacquainted with the roads out there...because DC's suck!

Snow shots.

The driveway at my cabin is 175' long. My daughter and I managed to shovel about 40% of it clear today.

yes it is. The road was plowed in the middle of the storm Friday but still has 16" to 18" of snow on it. Hoping they come back as that's another mile and a half

Yep... 175' is about the first third of what I shovelled... And I was complaining about the lack of exercise recently (bicycle and dirt bike riding).... God heard me!

Enjoy it mica. I can't get reception here and I can't get out to go to the SB party and football sucks on the radio.

You're talking about an ATV, I presume? I have a bozo neighbor (there's one in every neighborhood it seems) who has one of those. He just continually runs up and down the driveway packing it down, and it can't plow this much snow, so the narrow path isn't wide enough for a cage. It might be able to plow as much snow as you can already drive in with a 4WD vehicle...

You must have balls of steel to be riding in this weather!
