As far as I know I just got a regular chain with master link also a new front tyre.

No gearing change. It had a 14t(down from 15?) up front when I bought it, put the stock back on the next day. I ride more miles on pavement than dirt and I don't like the lower gearing on the street. I might change it down when I try and learn how to wheelie

No need to change the gearing to wheelie with the DRZ!

NO!! Haha, not sure how that happened. Promise, I didn't change the color.

Mica, it is best practice to replace sprockets at the same time as the chain though not cost effective if that is where you're leaning. Look forward to riding again - let me know if you need a hand or garage space. Find an inmate with the no-mar tire changer (flow or blooch) to make your task go much easier.

Woke up at 5AM to head to work early. Pops was never heard me leave Worked till 10:30 or so then blew that popsicle stand

Geared up again and scooted over to Barboursville to check out the old ruins. I have whizzed by it but never stopped. What a neat place.

Notice his shirt

Played Secret Garden for a bit

Bellies grumbling, we followed our stomachs to the BBQ Exchange in Gordonsville. My new favorite local BBQ joint

Hushpuppies and Fries were on the way...

This is Mike

VERY nice guy and friendly enough to tell me all about his family history of BBQ. His father was the BBQ Champion in MD for many years and died in 1977. Mike has been slow cooking BBQ since the age of 14. He had a stand every weekend just up the road on 33 east of town for years. When he heard about the BBQ Ex. opening up, he saw it as an opportunity to promote his skill without the cost of ownership etc.

Cooked around 205F with Hickory Wood. THE BEAST holds up to 50 full racks and he usually gets it going around 9AM

He was kind enough to take a slab off and show me. I am certainly getting some ribs next time

Not if....but WHEN you go, talk to Mike. He is a friendly guy and willing to show you a thing or two. Wonderful smoked flavor to the meat

From here, I just sorta followed my internal compass which took us on Cox Mill Rd (awesome) then over to Old Gordonsville Rd - into Orange, over to 20E then hopped off on 621 through Wilderness Battlefield on our way to Mortons.

Warrantied my Atlantis II gloves and as watched a new rider in Marine fatigues drive away on an S1000RR. That was such a scary sight I filmed it with video expecting him to crash. He almost did as he was turning right at the light there. I could hear him gun the engine - man its a good thing that bike has traction control. *missed that part in my video.

Glanced over and saw this! Didn't see the rider...anyone we know?

We then proceeded to sit in Stop/Go traffic on I95 and Route 1 all the way home. (Sorry no Pics)

My new Wallpaper

Upon pulling into our Cul-De-Sac, the neighbors were outside enjoying the weather and playing a game of Washers (throw the large washers in the various holes for points - first to 21 wins)

Dad trying his hand

ATGATT

She let me ride her scooter too (She films well too!)

And some last minute flower pics

Went out for a ride later this evening to visit some friends in Arlington. Don't really miss the mixing bowl too much but it sure is fun zipping around there at night. Maybe its just my young fearless side coming out...home safe and sound. See you FF's in the AM!

I figured you would be working. I can't sleep so I thought I would cook.

I'll pop back, in a bit.
