Reminds me of this great episode of This American Life

Act One. Hanging In Chad.
Three guys who go by the names Professor So and So, Jojobean and YeaWhatever spend part of each day running elaborate cons on Internet scammers. They consider themselves enforcers of justice, even after they send a man 1400 miles from home, to the least safe place they can bait him: The border of Darfur. The three self-made enforcers tell Ira their story. For more on what they did, along with photos, maps and phone recordings, go here. (29 minutes)

Greeenn Acres is the place to Farrm living is..

We are to see snow over the weekend.. We shall see...
But we have been getting ready..For the first snow fall this weekend so they say .. ???
We had a few wet flurries some time back but it was at night and it didn't stick..
But this year we are ready... Bought a Roof Rake to make snow removal off the roofs easier..
We had way to much damage to gutters and down spouts last year from all the snow and Ice Dams...
The Barn is chucked full of hay

Don did a good deal of brushogging this year..

The cattle are doing great!!
Poncho is as big as ever!! Oh he is now 2nd in command !!
He seems to have had a battle with Tory!! No one was hurt..Other then pride.

Lefty is looking good..

Cisco's horns are twisting

The NEW herd leader Tory...Yeah he doesn't look so massive but trust me he is !

Charro has grown well, she is still cute as a button..

Tuco is really showing her dairy cow /longhorn breeding...

Yazhi has grown into a little bull!!
Not to bad looking too,for a calf that almost died this past winter..

No pix of Castanet she didn't want her pix taken...
This year it looks like we will once again increase the heard.. Remember they went walkabout, well they came home with a beautiful Charolais Bull for a few weeks.. Then when they were finished with him they walked him back home ;D Ya got to love longhorns/Corriente ... So it looks like calves in Jan/Feb/March ! Oh my... :o
I'm not looking forward to checking in the wee hours again in deep snow...
If we don't have big snow on the ground I will not have to keep a very close eye on them ...
So I am looking for NOT much snow.. But I fear that will not be the case..
We might see that 132" again this year as our moisture has been the same pattern....

Yuppers I post the samething in my RR's...

dirt!

Awesome farm pics LD
The whole place is looking awesome and I love the horns on your cattle. They look much more tenacious (and natural) than most, as de-horning is so prevalent. I hope we get back to a more 'normal' snowfall amount; last year was insane. And hopefully the stored hay is plenty to make it through to the spring. Firewood, too!
