I was out and about today.

Moomaw is still low, but I saw three boats of fishermen.

I ran rt 55 which is a dirt road that runs the WV/VA border connecting rt 39 to rt 84. Rt 84 runs from rt 92 in Frost wv to rt 220 just south of monterey va.

Some of the "snow fields" completely covered the road and I had to run up the bank. If I were on the DRZ I would have plowed through.

I went to Monterey and east on 250. I zipped up sounding ridge rd atop Jack mt. to the state gate, CLOSED. I did snap a picture.

or two...

Or three.....

I hope that snow is gone by April.

Unless they get more, I'm sure it will be. Most of snow had wet tracks around it. There was one big ice patch at the top of a knoll that had me cussing but I rode through the ditch. If its raining/wet in april this road will be snotty in stretches. But, a good bit is hard packed groomed gravel.

Nice pic flow!

On a more serious note, yeah right, can one of you XRL owners go out, pull your dip stick and measure from the "O" ring down to the full mark and give me the measurement? I would really, really appreciate it! Having a rough afternoon in Hell town...

Just holding... Every time we'd meet up either I didn't have cash on me or you didn't have the stickers with you, or we both managed to not think about it...
but yes, you "did" have one with my name on it

I know that part of the route
Blows my mind they won't let you in to see how they pump water up and later make the electricity back by letting it back down... such a cool idea but you have to imagine how they do it.

Hey Dingo! You really took that funny-looking bike a long way today!!!
