Brakes weren't the problem. It was my first exposure to deep, soft gravel and I hadn't yet learned the MORE POWAH!!! lesson. Look behind the bike and you can see the path of our tankslapper.

It was a soft landing, and Pam was laughing, so no biggie.

And, Steve, yes, my GS sucks. No word yet. I'm going to call today.

So it is BMW's position that a frayed and sticking throttle cable is normal and should be expected on a $15k motorcycle with 11,000 miles?

Have not even got to that part, it sits waiting for someone to even look at it because they are too busy.

Cable = $32.00

Rather do it myself. I'll know for the next time it happens at 22,000 miles cause I sure can't afford to sell it.

#8 sucks, not a GS, or if it was it ain't now. #9 sucks, the no beak gs look makes KBasa's mug look handsome.

#10, I can live with, it does not suck.

K12Steve please take your whining outside, maybe you can help Linzi fix her flat and she can have a look at your twist grip.

However, that front fender thing is bogus, and if thats the fuel filter on the crash bar, double bogus. Borderline, but when in doubt, sit em out. your bike sucks. Loose the fender thing and I'll consider a recount.
