Enter The Haggis - One Last Drink

lyrics:

[ CHORUS: ]
I've had a life that's full
Everyone's been good to me
So fire up that fiddle, boy
And give me one last drink
When the sun comes up
I will leave without a fight
The world is mine tonight

Old John on his deathbed cried:
"I think I will wait
'til tomorrow to die
The sun is shining, birds do sing
This, sir, is no day to go"

Up and out the door

[ CHORUS: ]

Took young Molly by the hand
Spun her 'round and back again
Clicked his heels, bowed his head
Never a tear in his eye

Carried on 'til five

[ CHORUS: ]

So raise a glass to the
dear departed ones

Room was full of all his friends
Never a funeral, this was the end
They drank to all who lent their hand
Everyone drank to John

[ CHORUS: ]

I've had a life that's full
Everyone's been good to me
So fire up that fiddle, boy
And give me one last drink
When the sun comes up
I will leave without a trace
But the world was mine today

I heard this via Pandora Radio not long ago, it has become one of my favorites also.

Great minds think alike.

Damn, no kidding. Many of us motorcyclists used to be skaters and can appreciate that difficulty. I've never seen tricks like those one-footed landings and balancing moves, incredible.

double back flips, forward flips, record jumps & stunts

this video floored me, basically a slow motion HD compilation of riders pushing the limits. there are two more after this, bit more of a focus on trials in one, and freestyle on the other.

In the US this advertising technology is prohibited. It was done in US movie theaters in the 50's to get you to go to the snack bar to purchase tasty and overpriced popcorn.

Watching this illustrates to me what BMW has lowered themselves to; notice the comment about building "brand identity", pay attention to the idea that "you can live your dreams", this is the kind of thing that gets people to spend big money to get on a bike that they absolutely DO NOT have the skills and experience to handle safely. Marketing to Nimrods with money is the reason that BMW has developed their vaunted ABS, traction control, gyroscopic stability, whizz-bang technology.

Ruben Xaus doesn't need all that techno-stuff, he has unreal skills. If this techno-stuff was so red hot, why is he described as "vice-champion"? Last time I checked there was "Champion" (#1) and "Runner-up" (#2, first loser, everybody else, the peloton, etc)
