Ya know, this tag game works well for an "out of towner". I follow the thread, and find these interesting places to visit when I visit. Can't wait til the weather warms a bit so I can come ride to some of these tags.

I started to put it at a real nice water crossing, but then I remembered pushing the KLR out of the river several years ago because I didn't have the T-mod done yet. Thigh deep water in January was not a fun ride home.

That tag will have to wait till spring.

New tag..

Should be easy enough. Keep the bridge theme going, but this one is not covered..:

Downstream:

Upstream:

Hint: This bridge is the first bridge crossing this river just above a very important body of water!

Holy guacamole! Throw me a bone here. I was going to ride tomorrow and maybe get a tag... but this is pretty obscure. I mean, it looks like any of a thousand bridges in Georgia. I don't mind wandering around a bit, but this one's a little tough!

Figures I miss all the easy ones and this one pops up the day I can go riding.

Ok, Ok..! Said body of water just downstream (and the river) is is quite contentious and subject of frequent litigation between States competing for water from this same source watershed. Note that in the pics that there is not a whole lot of flow here, yet something like 4-5 million folks downstream depend on it...

That help?

Yeah, I figured it was that body of water. And looking at the map, calculating your meandering route back home from the previous tag, I can get somewhere in the ball park, but there are roads, bridges, and rivers all over the place in that area.

And that bridge doesn't exactly stand out.

Maybe I'll go wander around and see if I can get lucky. If you don't hear from me in a week, call out the search and resuce.

Through this guy a bone so we don't loose another ADV'r.

I have no clue myself, but I'm not so sure I'd have time to go after it if I did have a clue.

Dang it all! Didn't think it was that confusing..

There are 2 rivers that flow into this body of water. On one of them, the first bridge crossing the river above this body of water is Ga. 400, a 4-lane hwy. This aint it.
