I watched a video of bikes going down that road on YouTube, and that bridge has a guard rail.

The bridge in the tag is a much lower traffic bridge.

I have no idea where it is either, and I have tomorrow off. How likely do you think it would be that I would just find this bridge by wandering around?

Az
Nope, based on SR's last clue, I definitely had the right bridge in mind. Somebody better get it before Sunday

Nice job, AzB! Now you have 48 hours to post the next tag! I am glad you were persistent with your quest to find the location based on the clues I gave! SR

That was a PITA to find. That road doesn't exist on Google Maps or on my atlas.

I got the Sunrise Store from the first set of clues, and I kept looking for a road that matches the rest of the clues. I was hesitant to ride 250 miles without having a pretty good idea where it was. You last clues almost gave it away, so I figured it was worth riding around looking.

As it was, it still took me a couple hours of riding around. I even stopped at the store, and didn't see the road because there was a truck parked there.

The next one will follow in the tradition of bridges. I'll go get it tomorrow.

Good job AzB!
Check the map and make sure I marked it right. It's the bridge on Wolf Creek Road behind Sunrise Grocery on 180/19/129, correct?

Cool, Thanks!

StretchWife and I have a hall pass Sunday, so we'll be giving you some competition for the next tag. You'll have the advantage because I usually can't get her on the bike before noon this time of year.

New Tag:

Clue #1: It's about a hundred freakin' miles from Dahlonega.

Clue B: This is the most recent covered bridge built in Georgia. Built in 1997, it bridged a historic ford (which I have forded on my Harley before, thanks for asking) and features cameras, smoke detectors, and a sprinkler system.

Clue 2.1B: It's just north of a park that just opened a veterans park, and it's on the north side of a lake.

Bonus points: (I'll buy you lunch if you find 'em) There are two more fords in the area. One is very close by, and the other is maybe 8 miles from here.

Not me, too many interstates and cars between here and there.
