About 15 minutes of furious googling later, and I know where it is.
Finding time to get there this week is another story.

When lifes little challenges don't get in the way, I ride. But I've never been able to resist stirring the pot for whiners. Why, don't you ride?

Another interesting tag, good job Jman955i!
I figured it out too, but the way this thing is moving, it'll be gone before I can get over there.

Let's see if AzB got it before dinner.....

Nice tag! I am not familiar with that particular area of the state, but I was able to figure out where the cemetery is and who the deceased reverend was. Now I just need to find the time to ride over there..... SR

I have to say that was an excellent tag. A nice ride, a little bit of history, and a bit off the beaten track. Thanks Jman, they don't get a whole lot better.

And the late for supper crack was a reference to the "Old Dan Tucker" song. It's part of the lyrics.

I'll post a new one soon.

Alright glad you enjoyed it. I know of alot more tags that yall will enjoy. I will keep my eyes on the north ga tag from here on out.

Old Dan Tuckers Grave is off of highway 72 east of Elberton Ga. Take Pearl Mill Rd to Heardmont Rd to the fork in the road and follow the signs to the grave. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Dan_Tucker

Cool tag thread(s). I noticed this is just for us North Ga folk. Any consideration fer a new name for us? How 'bout DONGs? (DS North Ga).

What's that? No one likes the idea? Ok, nevermind. It was just an idea.

Tag whore
Nice work, and nice looking bike there, AzB!

If you get the other Georgia tag, it may be time to unify this thing under one tag thread

Updating the map now.

New tag!

This pic was taken just to the right of the first pic:

This was an interesting area. Just downstream are remnants of a mill and a hydroelectric power plant. Be prepared to spend some time checking this place out.

Clues:

This is the longest covered bridge in Georgia at 229ft.
(It's also easily the most photogenic, but I can't show you any more pictures because it would give it away)

The road name is "Covered Bridge Road".

It's in a State Park.

Good luck!

Az
