Two; one in each country.

I have a 1997 Honda Dream registered here in Thailand (owned since 2003). The other is a 1983 Honda MB 100 (owned since Feb '85) that is no longer registered, but is being used off road by some young fellows in New Zealand.

Through the '90s I worked several months of the year in England and the rest in New Zealand. Most of the time I had a CB 250 RS (which was eventually stolen) in England and the MB 100 was road registered in NZ.

Two.
The 690 I use for rides where dropping the bike is likely.
The GSA is for cruising all sorts of roads.
I hate it when I see a nice rugged path heading into the woods and I'm on the BMW. I've learned that picking that fat bitch up is going to F'up my replacement hips one day or another. Specially when she lands heavy side down hill and can't be spun.

So, I scout on the GSA and explore on the KTM.

I don't feel so bad after reading this.
However, a friend called me yesterday and told me of a free bike to good home. How can I refuse that. I don't know where I'm going to put it though.

BMW R1200GS LC.....Like a good pint of real ale, common but still satisfying.

BMW HP4 ....Like a rare and strong Scotch whisky, best taken in small doses with water.

BMW R1200S.....Like a glass of fine port, full of fruity character and flavour.

BMW K1200R-Sport....Like a glass of cider, slightly offbeat choice, but great when you're in the mood for it.

Just wondering if you knew that there are some other bike brands out there. Just in case you hadn't noticed.

Just curious how you decide which bike you're gonna ride. Other than the HP4 there seems to be a lot of overlap. Between my wife and I we've had at some points 7 bikes in the garage but are finding we are riding one bike on most rides. We currently have two each, two Suzuki DR dual sports, her Street Triple and my Tiger 800XC. I haven't ridden the DR yet this year and unless we go on a serious dual sport ride the Tiger is my goto bike. I love the longer travel suspension on our crap back roads, can still be ridden quickly but in control and comfortably.

My wife is probably going to try a Tiger 800 roadie this year to see if it can replace her Street Triple. Not sure if she'll be happy as she's ridden my Tiger and calls it "kinda boring" compared to her Street Triple.

Currently 5. May trade 2 for 1 and be down to 4. Or maybe just 1 and some cash. Either way, I want that Super Tenere.
