3 street legal bikes and 2 dirt bikes. I am thinking of getting a 4th street legal bike, but I am also trying to decide what the practical limit is. The DR gets ridden the most because it is the most versatile. If I could only have one bike, this would be the one. The cruiser is my two wheeled eye candy, my around the 'burbs nice weather transportaion and my choice for riding with a pillion. The scooter is my grocery getter and errand runner. I'd also like a road bike that will easily eat higher speed miles, maybe a sport tourer or a Versys.

Currently some duplication, 8, but there's good reason:
72 Norton Combat,
74 Norton Interstate
81 Laverda Jota
85 Laverda RGS
89 Honda RC30
91 BMW R100GS
01 Moto Guzzi V11 Sport

Will be selling either the GS or the PD in the spring. All others are keepers.

1990 KLR250 (major internal engine parts (crankshaft bearings are important) have failed, somehow still runs)

I want to fix the KLR, but lack the necessary skills. And tools.

Is that OK so long as its "The Swiss Army Knife of Bikes," i.e., a 1974 Puch moped? Just kidding. Though it is just one, since Cordless has agreed to buy my old clunke...I mean classic.

How do you cheese-whizzes afford the taxes and insurance and registrations for multiple bikes? Keeping my old XR650L for one year in MA cost more than the bike was worth. Forget about cool bikes like Duc MS, Nortons and the like...I give up, will have only one bike, and spend my time on Flea Market. Thank you for listening.

PUI. Its been a long week.
