I'm happy with these bikes, I spent years going back and forth to get the right combination. I would like one more bike to leave in the Vancouver area but I don't think thats going to happen

4 soon to be six

DL650 for touring and camping
DR200SE running around town and exploring backroads
TTR230 for trails and crappy roads
TTR125LE for my son and wife

Going forward this winter
DR650 to keep my son company when he steals my DR200 when he gets his license and for more distance on crappy roads

TTR230 for my son to ride trails because he is outgrowing his 125

My older son has a DL650 so that is a 5th I guess.

That looks like a V65Sabre in great condition in the background - a wonderful bike! I wish I had kept mine. I know, there's lots of newer touring units that are lighter, and have more factory installed gizmos; but that is one cool ride.

One R1150RT. I wouldn't mind having a dual-sport, but the RT does great for most of the riding that I do.

Nice list, I was gonna say that they still sell motorcycles. Looks like you haven't been in a dealership in decades.

Actually, up till a couple years ago, I worked in a BMW/Ducati/HD/Yamaha dealership. I could ride most any modern bike I wanted. None ever appealed to me enough to come off the cash, even at a discount.

The wife does have me on the lookout for a Ducati Monster as her next ride.

A friend of mine has a Small Collection (Over 400 Last count) of Motorcycles. He has recently started buying some very vintage machines (1920-30s) and keeps a house at the base of Palomar to store tham.

Hmm, I wonder who that suck...er...friend might be.

Two of my own*: an '07 KLX 250s modded to be a seriously super schweet trail bike by my beloved Kamala ( ) and an '08 Ulysses XB12X. Is there anything wrong with the fact that I got my learner's permit and purchased the KLX on 2/14/08, passed the MSF on 3/22/08, and purchased the Uly on 4/1/08??? I'm not an obsessive impulse buyer I'm not an obsessive impulse buyer I'm not an obsessive impulse buyer. Seriously, I'm super happy with my current stable as it really covers a tremendous spectrum between the two bikes. Although with the mods I pretty much restrict the KLX to dirt biking with only limited time on the tarmac (riding the whopping 3 miles to the local trailhead or linking up sections of a Turkey Run).

*uh, not sure how many bikes and or portions thereof actually reside in Hill Street Garage. You'll have have to ask Cordless...
