Currently I have 2 bikes - but until late this summer I had 4....recently let go of an '82 Suzuki GS850L (had 857 miles on it when I bought it - pristine!) and a '06 Kawi KLX 250 - before I moved in Sept. I learned a lot from both these bikes and they helped me realize the type of riding I'm most suited for. I didn't have a garage - now I have a two car garage to store my '06 Piaggio BV 500cc and my '07 BMW F650GS. The remaining two bikes meet my needs perfectly. The scooter is a hoot to ride in town and actually for light touring its pretty great as well. The BMW just makes me smile no matter where I ride it. This is the first time in over 20 years I have had a garage. When I first moved into the house it was an "almost" garage - everything but the doors - even before I'd moved in I had the doors on order - now I have a double car garage that keeps all my toys, bikes, kayaks, bicycles, camping gear and my craftsman tool chest together in one place, plus room left over for the Subaru. Everytime I hit that door opener button I just beam!!!! For me two bikes is more than enough - I'm not mechanic enough (er...at all) or deep pocketed enough to handle the care and feeding of more.

Ok ill bite on this

1974 honda cr250m (restoration in progress)
1974 kaw g4 (needs a lot of help)
1975 yam Rs100b (1st bike i ever had)
1976 suz rm250
1978 suz rm125
1979 suz rm125 (my bike restored, bought one new in 79 and just had to have one)
1979 suz rm125 (bought the same time as my other one, now the youngest boys bike)
1979 suz pe250
1980 suz rm100
1980 suz rs175 (oldest boys bike)
1985 honda cr250r ( my youngest brother gave me, needs work)
2007 kaw klr650

As you can see im a suzuki fan, and would trade quite a few for a 1977 suz ts250 ( the one with the yellow tank) was my favorite bike i owned in my teens
Would love to have many more, but wife says no, garage is not used for the car or truck and the basement is full too.
Id like to have a ural with sidecar to take my dog or grandchildren for rides, wife wont ride with me(not that im complaining)
Would like to have a better ds bike than the klr, but ive had a blast on it so far, so ill probably keep it.
