Identify gas tank on KTM
Here's a pic I found on one of Gaspipe's postings. Since I just bought a '96 KTM 620 RXC I was wanting to replace the tiny stock tank with an aftermarket one. Can someone identify the manufacturer from the pic. I have only found IMS online so far. Do they make a quality product?

That looks like an acerbis rally tank to me

No, that's not a 28L, a 28L is the same size as fitted to the LC4 Adventure. This one is smaller than that, IIRC it's about 20L and was in the KTM Hardparts catalogue, may well be made by Acerbis though.

Looks like an older version of the Acerbis 6 gl tank.
Found this here ... looks very similar. I just got a used KTM 450 EXC and going thru the same tought process of upgrading the capacity. I heard IMS tanks require seat modification which I do not want to deal with. Picture here shows Acerbis 6 gl tank ... |

You're all wrong on this one.
 That bike pictured was my old '96 620 RXC. What I did was fit the '95 optional KTM desert tank, steel braces, and seat to the '96. It was a tad over 22 liters to full. It was made by Acerbis, so that part is right, but it is different than the 20l tanks that came out a couple years ago.
