New Tag

Purchased by a local university (not a univ then) in 1929 for $4750.
They had a boat named "Speedy"
Keg parties were the rage in the 70's
It is down a three digit route. The first two numbers are the same. If you divide them by each other you get the final number of the three digit route. The name of the road is related to someone who calls looking for your membership and to pay your dues.
It is along a "Fork".
Kentucky Coffee Bean trees are planted around the structure

(Rather redundant isn't it?)

And the Ride the World Dirt Chopper:

Something occured to me today.
I went to the new location on my way to pick up the current tag, as I thought it would make a better loop for the ride.

When I placed the new tag, it occured to me that this presents a certain difficultly when placing the toy bike at the new location.

Therefore, there is no bike at this location. It's in my tankbag.

Okay, here are your hints:

1. Since HBN made the bold move of being the first to post a tag on the East side of 81, I kept the new one on that side.
2. This popular hiking trail is located on a road sharing a name with very popular sportbike sold between 2002 and 2006.
3. The location is cold. Really fucking cold.

The sign on the gate reads:

As far as I can tell, that means it's still open to the public and motorcycles (which can easily go around), they just don't want cars going there....
I wasn't sure, though, so I just turned around. Can anyone clarify this, because it looks like an AWESOME DS ride beyond the gate.

NOW THATS A TAG!

I am still scratching my head. Oh well I got all night.

I have been riding all day with a Ruckus. Lots of fun - will post something under SVRInmates.

The bike in question was better known by its displacement.

Got it. Anyone interested in an AM ride Sunday? Oh and to answer your question, I think this road is open for some DSing. I would probably just go right around the gate no prob. You can enter it farther north on a road which shares part of its name with an old Honda model popular from the 60's. I may be able to get a hold of the keys to this road from a buddy but that wouldn't be till next week sometime.

btw, I made a mini ADV sticker for the KTM and have it here ready for the AM.

A little over 2 hours if you're going to place HBN is thinking of.
But not if you actually want to go to the place in the photo!

It is in the Rockingham County GIS as Cam Bell Rd.

So any more clues? I am still looking. Is the hiking trail in the GWNF? I don't think they allow motor vehicles in SNP.

I am starting to doubt this is in the Valley...but then again neither was the first tag.

Hm, I didn't think it would be that hard.
I did just check Google, and the road I was on did not list the route number on Google Maps.
Oddly, in person I don't ever recall seeing a name on the road--I didn't know it had a name until I looked it up on google maps.

Well, since it's a nice ride and tomorrow is supposed to be nice, I'll go ahead and make it easier.
As for the bike manufacture....GO TEAM GREENE!
As for the Really Fucking Cold part....c'mon guys. Where around here does it get the coldest? This should be easy.
As for the road name - two words. One is used in a game similar to Musical Chairs. The other describes where you'd find the objects in the game.
