Close to China

We are only a few km from China here.

A morning after a good night sleep in a tent.

Then the fun is starting. We drove appr. 2000 km. on dirt roads.

Dusty roads

Some places the roads was wide, but dusty.

Some small problems had to be fixed.

Scotch tape was handy.

On the way we meet only nice and friendly people. Had to speak some russian because their english is very close to nothing. We stopped on a "drive in" close to Skovorodino.

Fantastic - I'm doing the reverse of this as my first stage in a RTW trip for charity...

London - Denmark - Oslo up and around Norway, Sweden & Finland to St Petersburg. Then Moscow, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan Mongolia to Vladivostok...

I'm fascinated to see how you got on...

Hope you had a good time...

Taking 5 minutes

Her we are taking 5 minutes close to Birobidzhan

We found a nice place to put up a tent. A small river close by

Here you can see the russian way to travel. New cars are coming in from japan this way..

Outside a hotel in Skovorodino. Some small things had to be adjusted before we left. Every morning we looked at the bikes to see if something was lose.
