You might want to look for a second hand 650m screen. I installed one on my 850 and it's sweet. Like riding a naked bike, lots of air but it's all nice and smooth with no turbulence. Got it for $50.00 (USD) shipped.

Any idea where to look? I´ve browsed through Swedens places för used items, and also checked ebay with no success. I can buy it new from my BMW reseller, for approx $170!

I posted a WTB add here and on ibmwr.org and had good luck. Perhaps a WTB add closer to home for you may work. Some people have things sitting around and they don't know they want to sell them until they see that someone wants to buy. Shipping from here in the states shouldn't be too bad if you get a good price. The screen is light and a low price could be declared on the customs form to save you on the import tax.

Estimated prices for the Street/Touring screens will range from $320 to $370 depending upon screen height.

I figured it will be around that much for the big touring screen. And the Aeroflow won't be ready for about 2 more months. I'm gonna try the bmw touring $creen which for me, will come to the same price as the Aeroflow thanks to my dealer's discount.

Just ordered one yesterday.
What size is it and how did you like it? I bought the 18" high and am thinking it might be too much.

I cut down the stock F650 screen 1" and it's even better - very clean air flow just like on a naked sport bike.

I tried the TT screen and it was annoying. Gave me a terrible headache on the first ride and did not offer the protection I was expecting. I also realized that a tall windscreen is not safe for the riding style I use offroad - head over handlebars.

Yep - there is a post with a view from the other side somewhere on here or just follow the URL for the pict back to my fotki account. Unfortunately I have to remove it - I installed some Renthal Twinwall bars/barkbusters and the handguards come into contact with the GPS where it is currently mounted.

I have been looking at windscreens with better coverage since I bought my GS but couldn't decide which to buy. My local dealer said he had sold dozens of the Tourtech screens and everyone loved it. He told me I could try it, if I didn't like it I could bring it back.

It doesn't look a lot bigger than the stocker but the shape is definitely different. I had high hopes when I hit the highway tonight but I am sad to say I didn't notice much difference between it and the stocker. Back it will go. Hopefully I can get the same "take it home and try it" deal on the aftermarket BMW screen

I managed the "return if you don't like it" deal with the big expensive BMW touring screen today. It wasn't any better than the stocker either. It is definitely bigger but the added size is at the top once the screen starts getting more horizontal. I'm 6'3" with a 34 inseam and the top of the screen is about jaw level for me. The noise and turbulence starts at about 60km/h and (of course) gets louder with speed. Calsci next?!
