Careful, Ontario Registration number is visable.

Seriously I love that plate holder you made. Any chance you want to make....

Hi all,

I can't make any more at work (I had to sneak this one in), but since there is some interest, I called a buddy who could make some if it's worthwhile. How much would you be willing to pay for something like this? I've attached a couple pics to show more detail. Also, does anyone know if all plates are the same size from state to state?

Inside of cover

bracket & cover, no plate

plate on bracket, no cover. works & looks fine if your plate hasn't been butchered.

Cheers, Dino

Dino,

All motorcycle plates in the US are the same size.

I'd pay $20 shipped. Especially if it came in black.

Well, with one order and $20 we should be able to get the aluminum, black spray paint and shipping. However, the product you receive may not be exactly as illustrated.

Cheers, Dino

I'd be interested in one too. $35? $50? Anodized or power coated in black perhaps.

Hi all,

My buddy and I just had a conflab about building some of these. We figured a minimum run of 25 would be needed to pursue this deal. I'm going to go to the post office tomorrow with my parts and see how much it would cost to ship to YediGS in San Diego just to get an idea. I'll also check out aluminum. I'm guessing the price would be a lot closer to GSJon's second guess than Yeti's first offer. Please chime in with your thoughts or possible interest and we'll see if this goes anywhere.

Cheers,Dino

Yes jesse, it's two pieces. What I call the bracket is the piece that bolts to the fender. The plate could be bolted to just that
as in post #48, pics 3&4. What I call the cover fits over everything and sandwiches the plate between the two.Post #48 pic 2 shows the cover slipped over the bracket. I made the cover for mine because of the extra holes drilled into the plate to fit the stock bracket. They can be seen under the top bolts in pic 4. Do the US plates bolt on the stock bracket without drilling new holes?

Cheers,Dino

The US plate lines up with the bracket that came on my bike. I dont know if the Canadian bikes have the same bracket. ( I know the euro bikes are different)

Darn! I like my Guiness at the pub more than having one at home anyways.

Any more news on the license plate holders?
