Splendid piece of kit for CQB, useless beyond the length of a average lawn unless you take the head shot. So I am told.

Correct. There were private citizens alive during the ratification of the Constitution that owned cannons, field artillery. "Arms" meant weapons of war, not "single shot muzzleloading guns suitable for deer hunting".

They envisioned that citizens should possess the same arms that any modern army would. Any ancillary reading of the arguments of the founding fathers, the letters, the state constitutions being ratified around the same time shows this much is not in debate.

Love me my H&K USP 9mm standard. Double stack magazine, and it's still narrow enough for my hands. very balanced too.

Judging by the trigger, that is the A2, but it is typically seen mounted with a SUSAT sight. Increasingly, they're also now seen with launchers slung underneath as well:



You needed to keep them clean, and not hit the mag release by accident (which was far too easy, but a lot better on the A2) but they're great for CQB, and still capable of easily hitting a figure 11, even out to 300 yards. Add an awesome sling and you have a pretty good package IMHO.

I think the pic is an airsoft replica, I just liked the union flag background. Definitely an A2, check the cocking handle.
