1. Be big fat fuck
2. Invest in badass belt like Wilderness Instructor CSM
3. Invest in IWB like a MTAC.
4. Dress for it--tight under layer (t-shirt) with loose outer layer. FWIW, The Wilderness sells some pretty neato Hawaiian-style shirts that are made in Phoenix but they are expensive.

Comp-tac also makes IWB mag pouches, think I'm going to try one out.

I have never been made (AFAIK) while wearing my MTAC. Even when I OC with that holster most people don't notice the gun because it's pulled in so tight to the body.

Same price, similar levels of condition, which would you pick?

Remington 582 or MAS mod 45?

On a whim yesterday, I bought a Remington 760 Gamemaster in .308. Tried it out at the range and it's quite a nice rifle. After adjusting the cheap scope a bit, it shot pretty well, even with me aiming it. I'd like to eventually put a Redfield in place of the Chinese scope that it's got now. Pics to follow.

Man, people are stupid or broke here. Weird too because they as sellers ask exorbitant pricing for their stuff on a local gun sales board, then try to beat you up and get you as a seller on the same board to nothing! I posted up my RIA which ahs 225 in PARTS on it not to mention all the hand work then people keep calling me AFTER reading what all it has done to it asking why it is so much more than a box stock one they see on the internet!

While I have sold a few (very few) guns via advertising and private sale to a stranger, I find that process to be exceptionally unpleasant. I once advertised a gun for what I believe was a very reasonable price of $XXX "FIRM" and there must have been twenty people who called and wanted to bitch and negotiate downward. I finally said that my time was valuable and if they insisted on engaging in continuing blather and negotiation, I'd raise the price $10 bucks for each additional question. Hey, don't get me wrong, I don't mind someone asking questions about the gun, how much has it been used, any problems, that sort of thing, and I'll answer those honestly, but these were some trouble-making cheap SOBs. Anymore when I sell a gun I either sell it to a friend or someone I know, or put it on consignment and let the shop put up with the bullshit.

Yep, especially since3 people think that custom work done has no bearing on the worth of a firearm, which is BS because unlike after market parts on a car you can recoup money spent on custom work on guns. At least on 1911s. I'd love to hear one of these idiots call Wilson and say, I can get an RIA for 500 dollars can I buy that Combat Masterpiece for 500 instead of 4500.00...it is JUST a 1911.
