I believe you can send a long gun directly to a person in the same state.

You can also send a long gun that's classified as an "antique or relic" directly to another person if you both have antique or relic licenses.

Pretty awesome on both counts. I'd love to have that Dan Wesson in my collection.

That's a target gun in .45ACP. Uses moon clips. These were the N frame equivalent of the K-22 and K-38. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

The difference in the energy transferred to the bullet when compared to the GP100 is pretty amazing. Nearly double in 4 out of 5 factory rounds tested.

This is a chart from a review on realguns.com.

Range report later this weekend if it stops raining.
Finally got to shoot the revolver and the new rifle across the chrono.

10 shot averages. 158gr SJHP over 16gr H110.

GP100 4"

Ruger 77/357

600 ft/sec faster out of the rifle. The average speeds were less than reported factory speeds for the same weight bullet. 16gr of H110 was lower than the recommended maximum load (Sierra manual).

Woohoo!

My C&R license came today!

I'm thinking about getting a CZ82 and I've always wanted an SKS for some reason. Time to start scouting for decent deals.

Congrats! Got mine last year, but lost my job this spring, so no dough to buy with .

Fortunately, the current madness had not affected C&R stuff quite as badly as the rest, still some good stuff to be found.

Sometimes you just get lucky...this is a 1992 Remington 700 BDL in .30 06. It's the European model and it's new old stock (even came with the box). It's one of a very limited run they made with a low gloss finish.

It was somebody's safe queen, but not any more. This puppy is going to send lead downrange!

I've been searching for one of those for years. We had one when I was a kid, right up until my POS step-brother pawned it for weed or whiskey. By the time we discovered it's absence it was too late.

Awesome shooting gun. We didn't have the extra barrels, just the Dirty Harry length one. You could really drive tacks with it and it was a joy to shoot.

If you pass on it, pass it my way.

I started this coyote season out with my 300 BLK build, but the 'N' type batteries in the Eotech died and I haven't had a chance to go to town and get new ones. So I continued hunting with my trusty 5.56 I built and painted about 3 years ago.
Got the first dog of the year.
