Remove the guns from Albuquerque households and we should start a business on fitting bars on windows and skylights, in addition to sell dogs, medium size alligators, motes, etc.

My mom was visiting from Argentina and the first thing she noticed was "no bars or buzzers for the gates?".

"No one does mom, anyone that is not a criminal can go to the gunshop and buy anything they want"

"Windows look better without bars, eh?"

Great review on the PF9, I am looking at one and I think I am going to pick it up.

Are you asking about a shotgun or a rimfire rifle? AFAIK the Winchester model 12 is a shotgun. Values for those in "good" condition would be around the $150 - $200 range.

I don't think I've ever seen one sell for that cheap. Even with little bluing they usually fetch $500.00 or more. Some go really high if it is on one of specialty guns or in un common gauges.

I'm going off of the "Blue Book of Gun Values" valuation table, as well as the retail price I've sold them for in the past 12 months.

Is there someplace to check the value of used guns without paying? All the stuff I found online wants a fee.

Nope. You either have to buy their book, subscribe to their service or find someone who is willing to give you an honest answer because they subscribe, or make a living buying and selling guns.

I may have screwed up. I was looking around and maybe it wasn't a Winchester. All I found with a 12c was a Remington. I'll have to go look at it again. Its at a local shop for $225. I thought for sure it was marked Winchester, though.

Edit: I just asked the kid. He says he thought it was a Remington.

I picked up an STI TargetMaster last February, had Dawson put their FO front site on, and voila. My first and last 1911. Absolutely incredible. However, I've heard the Les Baer Thunder Ranch will smoke most any Wilson out there.

It all depende on who is at the controls.
Jerry Meculek(sp?) (smith&wesson) can smoke any semi-auto shooter with a revolver.

Finally got to push some rounds through it today. It's got a 'thump' to it, but it's not too bad.
30 rounds was enough - to break the welds on a steel target I've had for 15 years!

You are gonna love this one.
Get some Hogue rubber grips for it.
I have a 5" 629-4 and it is the one I enjoy shooting most of all my hand guns.
Do you reload?
14 1/2 grains of Blue Dot under a 240 gr. Hdy Xtp is a good mid. range load that is really enjoyable to shoot.
It is nothing to go thru 4 or 500 of these a day.
