I installed my Adv-Spec crashbars today:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not wild about the looks. They stick out a bit farther than I'd like, visually. (Woodworks, I think you might've been right....) The bars are about two inches from the radiator shrouds. Once you get the panniers on it all looks more balanced. I haven't had the guts to lay my bike over on its side yet to see how she'll rest, but eyeballin' it sure looks like they'll do the job functionally. They are seriously beefy. The bars went together easily and well. Everything fit, and the instructions were superb, except for the omission of one torque setting which was "per the manufacturer's specifications." Probably the best way to do that, but it'd be nice to have it all on one sheet. Rob in Seattle

The good news is, there's a better chance that they'll still fit with forward aux. fuel tanks. ![]() Those definitely would have saved me a turn signal last weekend. :muttpark

You can't really see it in this shot but the bars make sure that even the end of the handlebars don't touch the ground. As for front aux fuel tanks for the F800GS I have heard that is a possibility!

After some refinements, I believe so. Probably the new year now as they are also busy honouring their crash bar shipments
