Leo Vince SBK Oval EVOII Carbon Slip-On.

$450 from Revzilla.com. Free shipping. No tax (might be a Minnesota thing). Light as a feather! Seems built extremely well!

I'm stoked to put it on and remove the EVOII silencer insert!!! You can hear it in DolphinJohn's video post above. He's also got the carbon model with the insert removed.

I've got about 7,000 miles on mine with no change in the sound. I'm hoping that what Leo Vince says is true and it won't need re-packing.

That's not a bug, that's a feature.

Congrats Griz. Really anything other than stock is great.

Were you shocked when you felt the weight of the stock can when you took it off?

I'll believe that when I see it. Fuel consumption typically doesn't suffer due to a slip on exhaust. If anything, it leans things out by reducing back-pressure. I put a slip on on my KLR650 and it actually increased fuel economy.

Yeah, if it lets the exhaust out easier and weighs less, how could it increase consumption? (I'm no expert on exhausts so I don't mind being educated).

That thing sounds amazing Griz! Well done!

Congrats, Griz

I didn't notice a drop in fuel mileage, but then again I wasn't paying attention.

In your case, you are adding the slip-on, but also the Uni filter, so results might be skewed.

What's the temp like for this weekend? Will you be able to get out for a ride?

Thanks guys! You're right Dolphin. The exhaust and UNI filter will skew the results. Hmmm..... Either way, as long as I still get decent mileage, I'm satisfied!

I'm blown away by the Leo Vince quality. I'm glad I didn't shell out more for some other exhaust. The thing really does sound great. Makes the bike sound like a Ducati Monster in a way. And I love the sound of those Ducati's!

I did the exhaust and the K&N filter and did notice an increase in fuel consumption... although it could be that i'm a bit happier on the throttle with the extra power and sound.
