I'll do my best to make it.
Sounds like a great time.
It is a most excellent event. You will have no problems with your Strom. I rode with the DS bunch last fall on my Ulysses and didn't have too much problem (except that one rocky little climb).

Well, I am not going to vouch for Cory's beer guarding abilities. If they are anything like mine, I think we should plan on making a beer run on the way in after the Saturday ride.

Hey, you're the guy that got uh, off road, on Reddish Knob with a girlfriend right? Hell man, I want to meet you! This is going to be a lot easier to find than that road was, really. Great story.

Ok, you could ride a horse there and be accepted, especially if it is orange. 2SBETTER will pick it up and list you on the first post. However you are set up, someone will set up like that and you can tag along with them. Or ride your own ride. There will be some bikes like yours and lots of stroms, you'll fit in somewhere. Bring your own grub/drinks/camp. Set up where ever you want.
I have always horned in on the first table on the left near the creek. Pick a spot and set up. Hell, I want a 950, I'll drink a beer with you.

BMWs are restricted to the far end of the campground, and if you are sleeping with ANYONE, do not, I repeat, DO NOT let them partake of scottp's culinary delights.

A warning worth heeding...and it gets MUCH worse if you combine the 15 bean soup with good beer.

Do I at least get a break since I USED TO own a KLR?

I think I may have a work/travel conflict, but it can be worked out, hope to join

The roads are typical and decent fire roads in and out. Those tires should be fine if you decide to run them, then just run with the more street ride. Could be your chance to show the Germans an Austrian roost or two. My brother ran those tires on his 990 on the TAT to OK last year. They were good but he couldn't hustle hard on dirt roads. Check the old threads on this campout, pics there would be enough to fill you in. Soo, what kind of whisky do you plan to bring?

I rode with the rest of the DS guys last fall on my Ulysses with Avon Distanzia tires. I don't know the MT90 right off hand, but they can't be any worse than the Distanzias are for dirt use.
